Lisa and Richard are songwriters in their own right but as their mentor the celebrated songwriter Charlotte Yates commented, 'together they produce something distinctive and new'.
Lisa Tui is a popular figure on the Christchurch music scene. She is known for her warm performance style and her intimate songwriting. Her regular concerts are well supported and she is an in-demand singer, providing back-up vocals or singing lead in bands. Lisa has been a songwriter for film and exhibitions of art.
Richard is a familiar member of the Dunedin Folk Club. His songs have been performed by other artists including Terry Ebeling and David Evison of Christchurch.
