This July, Pioneer Hall will be hosting some of the best bands Dunedin has to offer. The line up features four alternative acts. Sense of Time, Blisspoint, Ghost Colored Faces and Out of Luck! will all be playing. Come a long for a loud night with fantastic music!
Having met in high school and forming in Year 11, blisspoint have been tearing up stages and into ears with their searing math-inspired leads and grunge-splattered riffs. After taking a long and well deserved break they are back for a killer night.
Following in their footsteps, Sense of Time is playing. They formed late last year and have been growing a name for themselves throughout the Dunedin music scene. Their music is a mixture of alternative-rock, grunge and indie. They'll be sure to blow you away with their loud and energetic songs!
Ghost Colored Faces is a Dunedin based dreamo and alt-rock duo with lyrics aimed at the struggles of mental health. They wrap their messages in a dreamy yet heavy sound. Playing many gigs throughout last year and with their amazing performance alongside Sense of Time earlier in the year, you know you're going to be in for a cracking night!
Out of Luck is a two piece pop-punk band from Temuka/Christchurch. They formed in late 2021 and since then have been writing some great up-beat pop punk songs with some heartfelt lyrics. The band consists of Reef Brazendale on guitar and vocals with Liam Pelvin on drums.
