The Levansa Trio concludes its 2022 touring and recording schedule with this finale performance in Auckland. NZ Classical Artists of the Year from 2020, Sarah Watkins and Andrew Beer, reunite with international soloist and competition winner Lev Sivkov for this evening of passionate music-making. The concert begins with Beethoven's first published work, a piece full of youthful joy and humour, followed by pieces by two of New Zealand's most accomplished young composers, Reuben Jelleyman and Claire Cowan, culminating in one of the most epic, intense and passionate pieces of classical music ever written, Tchaikovsky's 'A minor Trio'.
