YOLK returns to the stage with the release of their latest single 'Nothing Good'.
Pōneke gutter folk act YOLK is returning to the green pastures of Vogelmorn's Bowling Club to deliver a heart-punching set ahead of their new album 'Let's Stay High Forever' (1/9/22). Following on from 2021's lo-fi country dirge 'Sleeping Country' YOLK is ready to deliver their most focused and poignant work yet. The release of their debut single 'Nothing Good' - a woozy folk punk hybrid in debt to a bittersweet nightlife has set the stage for an evening of self-destructive mischief.
Joining YOLK for the evening will be honky tonk hero Josh Dom and the ethereal sounds of Pōneke's own lady of the canyon Tessa De Lyon.
There will be food and drinks available for purchase thanks to the team at Vogelmorn Community Group.
All ages welcome. Those under 18 will need to be accompanied by a legal guardian.
The Vogelmorn Upstairs is not a wheelchair accessible building. There is an accessible bathroom in the space.
The Vogelmorn Precinct is a community space located in a residential area. With that in mind, the team ask that you be kind to others' who are using the Vogelmorn spaces and that when you leave the gig, you do so quietly to avoid disturbing our neighbours.
Doors open at 7 pm
