Jazz gigs are always populated with Jazz Standards, and within this esteemed category there is a group of tunes that Everyone Knows and has known since they Started Playing Music. These are called Bog Standards. They commonly elicit responses such as I Hate That Tune or I Think I Played That In My High School Band. Bog Standards are nonetheless Good Tunes™, and we will be playing them for YOU.
