New Zealand’s favourite indie pop duo, Foley, announce their first-ever headline shows in the South Island!

Returning to the stage after their packed Auckland and Wellington dates earlier in 2023, Foley continue the Crowd Pleaser Tour in support of their debut album 'Crowd Pleaser' via Nettwerk Music Group.

Foley and their 4 piece band will perform on Friday November 17 at Christchurch's Loons and Saturday November 18 at Dunedin's Dive.

The announcement comes after a stellar year for Foley. Their highly anticipated album Crowd Pleaser landed at #2 on the NZ Album Charts, with lead single 'What Got Into You' soaring onto the airwaves.

Their incredibly dynamic live show recently debuted in the US and Australia, with Foley also joining iconic singer-songwriter Remi Wolf on her tour. Fans have discovered the act through highly sought after opening slots for Tove Lo, Still Woozy and Two Door Cinema Club.

Foley have reimagined the tracks to make sure it's a unique experience from the recordings - performing with a 4 piece live band.

“The headline shows has always been in the forefront of our mind, so we're unbelievably happy to be bringing it to our South Island fans for the first time! We're a live band first and foremost, so cannot wait to get down there and show the vision!!!"

Reviews of Crowd Pleaser:

★★★★☆
Rolling Stone - "Sharp, analytical, and deeply confessional, Crowd Pleaser reminds you of the kind of trouble you welcome with open arms"

Otago Daily Times - "Crowd Pleaser delivers danceable power pop at its best"

themusic.com.au - "[Foley] takes on a whole other life when vocalist Ash Wallace and guitarist Gabe Everett present it in the live arena. They have a murderers' row of a rhythm section who add a real kick when they get into the groove of songs like Smooth It Over and Coffee. Wallace and Everett both absolutely come alive on stage – the former is in constant movement as she seamlessly delivers the hooks, while Everett pulls into his rock background and goes full-on shredder when the moment calls. For the love of mankind, get around Foley"

Music.net.nz - "Energised, fresh and strikingly vibrant"

Dates:

Fri 17th November - Christchurch @ Loons
Sat 18th November - Dunedin @ Dive
