Moving Forces of Society (MFOS) is a trailblazing new ensemble formed in 2023 that showcases the vibrant, cosmopolitan alternative music scene thriving in Tauranga.
Formed by local musicians/composers Pablo Cordoba, Akash Dutta, and Tyrone Dyer, MFOS is a representation of the multicultural population of this city. Combining jazz-funk with electronic synthwave, Latin-American rhythms, and South-Asian modality.
