Parallel Park are a five-piece indie pop/rock band from Whakatū/Nelson.

Having played 20+ gigs in 2023, highlights for the band include playing as a guest band at the Rockquest national final, opening for Kiwi legends The Beths, Marchfest, and the Nelson Arts Festival. Their self-recorded and self-produced debut EP ‘Parallel Park Vol. 1’ was released in December 2022 and their new self-produced album ‘Growing Taller’ comes out in February 2024. The music video for the first single ‘Can We Talk?’ has reached over 200k views on YouTube in just a week.

The band, playing together since intermediate school in 2017, comprises Zac Irving (Bass), Maisie Lucas (Drums), Florence McNabb (Vocals), Ethan Carde (Guitar), and Kahu Sanson-Burnett (Guitar). All members contribute to songwriting and their music incorporates indie, rock, pop, and folk influences.
