Hail, Meteor are playing their debut gig outside of Te Whanganui-a-tara, at Wunderbar, and are joined by Hoihoi + Social Union.
Hail, Meteor! is a bi-lingual, post-punk, death-pop band from Te Whanganui-a-Tara. Formed near the end of 2021 the band is Isobel Joy te Aho-White (bass, vocals), David Coventry (guitar, vocals), Simon Waterfield (drums, samples) and John Kingston (guitar). Hail, Meteor! is focused on dense, chaotic harmony, on gasped melody and swaying widths of space. Their debut release 4th Horse is available now, and they're working on their next release....
