About The Dreggs:
Australian Acoustic Folk duo, The Dreggs, is made up of, Paddy Macrae, and Zane Harris. Their music is heavily influenced by the coastal culture of Australia, regarding itself as the perfect ‘road-tripping’ music. Harmonies, fingerpicking, warm buildups, and stories, The Dreggs’ music encompasses a wide range of feelings from easy-listening to making you want to dance. From their first ever release, ‘Give Myself To You,’ The Dreggs have gained a steady following over a short period of time and are still growing, determined to make every show count and every foot tap.
About This New Light:
This New Light is an indie-folk music project based on the Sunshine Coast, Australia. Samuel Ayling, the creative mind behind the songs, has developed a signature silky sound that has drawn listeners in over the past 5 years, with tracks like 'The Mountains' and 'End of the Line' accumulating over 4 million streams each on Spotify. His songs have even appeared in feature-length films ('Outback', Michael Green) and major corporate videos (Snap Chat). This New Light has landed some significant festival slots over the years, performing alongside Hollow Coves, The Dreggs, The Temper Trap and Thirsty Merc at Roadtrip Festival and Caloundra Music Festival respectively. Most recently, Ayling took the project on the road, completing his third headline tour, travelling through three states, playing ten shows and performing to over 650 audience members.
