Born on a Kiwifruit orchard in Riwaka, Flex Webster lives and breathes music. DJ, Producer & Record Collector with a career spanning 25 years, music has taken him around the globe.
Flex attended the Red Bull Music Academy in Seattle (2005) and has won numerous DJ competitions over the years. Having a pretty broad musical scope these days his current obsession is with worldly Funk & Boogie sounds.
During his recent stint in London Flex performed regularly at Old Street Records and The Blues Kitchen among others. He hosted a radio show on Music Box Radio UK and appeared as guest on other stations including THREADS.
In 2023 Flex teamed up with Australian label That’s Not An Edit to curate the first New Zealand edition of their compilation series. His tasteful update of Letta Mbulu’s ‘Nomalizo’ is now penned for release on 7 45.
Flex is also one half of Shared Soul with his partner in rhyme Julia Jewels.
