IAS Cushion Concerts presents local bands in the intimate environment of historic Inverlochy House.
Join us this May for vibes of late 60s-early 70s psychedelic rock with Pōneke band, Temple.
This is the first performance of the concept album, based on a long poem by Lucas Chisholm, that the group have been working on for the past year.
The writing and recording of Apollyon really should've happened back in 1972 in a crumbling manor house in the middle of a wetland miles from anywhere, where we'd all have lived for months and consumed epic quantities of drugs and alcohol. Actually, we mostly worked on the project in the basement of a house in Khandallah, fuelled by moderate quantities of fairly average beer (by Wellington standards) and some energy drinks.
Join us for this exciting presentation of this new work & no worries if cushion's aren't your thing - we have chairs!
Free entry for tamariki.
