Jonathan Crayford is one of Aotearoa New Zealand’s most acclaimed pianists, composers, and improvisers, with an international career spanning New York, Cuba, Brazil, and Europe.
With contemporary jazz and free music mixed in equal measure, Leda's Dream creates a colourful folklore-style realm for its players to improvise in and make collective sound-imageries together.
Leda's Dream...cuts to the very heart of what it means to be a thinking, feeling human...always interesting and out of that a raw beauty and an honesty arise. - John Fenton - Jazz Local 32
