Gig Information

These Wellington, Kapiti and Golden Bay singer-songwriters have put together an evening of original music for your enjoyment at The Realm Bar & Bistro, Hataitai, Wellington, Saturday 20th September. The Realm is a family friendly venue with a great vibe, good food, including children's menu, a good range of refreshing beverages available at the bar and is wheelchair assessible.

Opening the evening at 6.30 is Hanne Jøstensen on piano, followed by Nick Feint on guitar, Rachel Hird on piano, and duo Waireka, featuring Cameron Te Moananui on guitar and Juli Usmar on ukulele.

More about the artists:
Rachel Hird is a Wellington based singer-songwriter. She grew up playing the piano and studying classical music. Nowadays she writes and performs her own songs best described as ‘songs from the heart'. She is constantly inspired by people she meets in the music community and her songs tell of people, places and events of the past and present. Rachel is planning an EP release later in the year.

'Singer-songwriter Nick Feint has an innate ability to bring in depth stories to life in his songs with heart and good humour. Bearing traces of Billy Bragg, Nick’s musical mix of wordplay and direct emotion makes for a strong and satisfying set.' Charlotte Yates, Musician.
‘Touching on life’s moments big and small, Nick performs his own heartfelt songs with integrity and confidence’. Jane Dixon, Mussel Inn.
Nick’s album “Next Exit From Babylon” is available on Spotify.

Hanne Jøstensen is a Wellington based singer-songwriter, originally from Norway. She will take you on a journey in true Scandinavian minimalist style to remote lighthouse islands and the polar night sky. Her single ‘The Lighthouse’ is now out on all major streaming platforms and will be followed by more releases over coming months.

Waireka are a couple who sing and play together, mostly in harmony. Cameron plays guitar and Juli, the cajon and ukulele. Their songs are written by Cameron.
