So here’s a fun one, starting this Saturday we’ve been working super hard over here to bring you two up and coming bands each week under the tripod on Courtenay place!!
Beginning this week with @daisygraeband and @_raffla kicking off at 9:00pm bring ya dancing shoes, the boogieing vibes, and your smiling faces because this is about to be a month of some of the best local live music you’ve ever seen!
RAFFLA: Raffla brings bass-heavy skanks, groovy rhythms and infectious vibrations, causing a recent spread of the swamp across Te Whanganui-a-Tara. Their genre-less sound draws heavily from influences of reggae and dub, whilst blending the fast-paced rhythms of ska and the groovy rhythms of dance music.
Daisy Grae: Daisy Grae are a Wellington-born band that have been grooving in the local scene since their early high school days. Taking influence from genres across the board, Daisy Grae have crafted their very own brand of alternative funk rock. They consistently bring a refined, heavy, and psychedelic energy to the Pōneke music scene, packing out venues such as Meow and San Fran.
