A rollicking, fun evening with Roger Lusby, who spent a year as base mechanic at Scott Base Antarctica over the 1969/70 season.
This audio visual presentation is about Roger’s year South and includes a special tribute for Sir Ernest Shackleton and his 1914 expedition when he lost his ship the Endurance.
Roger is a recognised balladeer and his one man show will be performed in two 45 minute sections containing song, music, poetry, pictures and unique stories, about Antarctica, spanning the heroic age to current day.
It includes “Shackleton’s Song” a poem Roger has written especially for this event.
