Better Than Never is an alt-rock band based in Blenheim, formed to give new life to a catalogue of previously unreleased 90s-influenced material. The band is heavily influenced by iconic artists such as Soundgarden, Pearl Jam, The Breeders, Nirvana, The Cranberries, Fiona Apple, Alice in Chains, and the Red Hot Chili Peppers.
Fooled Again is an instantly relatable anthem about the frustration of falling back into a destructive pattern, despite knowing better.
Better Than Never features Megan Rosene (Vocals, Keys), Ellie Brooke (Vocals, Guitar), Mark Smith (Lead Guitar), Felipe Mesquita (Bass), and Reece MacDonald (Drums). The recording of Fooled Again also features Tristan Gregory Hunt on Saxophone.
The single Fooled Again was recorded in Blenheim at The Forge Audio by music engineer Hemi Jones.
