Weekly Round Up: Friday 29th July

Weekly Round Up: Friday 29th July

Friday 29th July, 2016 5:44PM

In tour news this week D-Town hip hop artist Black Milk announced two New Zealand shows for November. Australian alt-country musician (and Wagons frontman) Henry Wagons is jumping the ditch for two performances in September on the back of releasing his debut solo album. And Danish sonic experimenter Puce Mary is coming for a four-date tour which kicks off at the end of August. On the local front, Don McGlashan and Shayne P. Carter have teamed up for a joint tour throughout October. And in festival news, the first line-up was announced for Auckland event The Others Way.

In this week's release news, we were stoked to present the debut EP from rising Auckland electronic producer Peach Milk. We were also elated to premiere the first song from Bob Cardy-led group Shaft in roughly a decade, the spaced-out single 'Meteor In You Mind'. Wellington's So Laid Back Country China shared their highly-anticipated sophomore album Sin Cristales, and made it free to download ahead of their four-date North Island tour next month. And South Africa's notorious rap-rave outfit Die Antwoord have unveiled the first single from their upcoming full-length record.

This week's Caught Live is Ron Gallipoli performing 'Ask A Teenager' at Fresh Digs just last week...
