Boycrush Unveils Album 'Desperate Late Night Energy' + Video Ft. Yumi Zouma

Auckland-based electro-pop artist Boycrush has at last shared his album Desperate Late Night Energy, as well as a video for his Yumi Zouma-featuring single ‘100%’. The eleven track opus has a revolving door lineup of superstar vocalists including Chelsea Jade, Madeira, Benny’s Videos and features contributions from Bevan Smith of Introverted Dancefloor in both mix engineer and producer roles.

The visuals accompanying ‘100%’ are a idiosyncratic green screen odyssey directed by Hayden Eastmond-Mein with animations courtesy of Zach Lieberman, who gave some insight into the clip’s creation…

"Alistair and I stumbled across a strange corner of Shutterstock that had a whole series of bizarre clips of people acting and dancing in front of a green screen. It was like we reached the bottom of the stock footage barrel and it was amazing - lots of terrible dancing and awkward corporate scenes”.
