The Free Nationals ft. Unknown Mortal Orchestra Drop Video 'Beauty & Essex'
California hip hop superstar Anderson .Paak’s live band The Free Nationals have shared a boldly-vibrant video for their sensual single ‘Beauty & Essex’, featuring the silky-smooth tone vocal tones of Unknown Mortal Orchestra's Ruban Nielson and rising Canadian R&B singer Daniel Caesar. The song's evocative accompanying video directed by Scott Lazer depicts giant bubble wraps, close-ups of women eating wet, juicy foods like tomatoes and what looks like to be raw tuna. The Free Nationals are covered by plastic sheets as they play their instruments, while Anderson .Paak also makes a couple of appearances. The Free Nationals' forthcoming album will also include features from the late Mac Miller, Kali Uchis, Chronixx and Benny Sings but there is no news on the release date as of yet. Anderson .Paak and The Free Nationals are coming to Auckland this January for a headline show with support from Nai Palm, while Nielson and his UMO crew are hitting stages throughout Aotearoa with festival favourites Fat Freddy's Drop this summer.
