Auckland groove-merchant A.C. Freazy aka Alex Freer has quietly snuck out a new solo tune, in his downtime from travelling the globe as a member of Tiny Ruins. Following on from the artist's lush reimagining of Ridley Scott's sci-fi classic Alien, 'The Other Side' addresses almost Lynchian lyrical themes of romance, machinery and the afterlife, as his song's intoxicating rhythms and stately slow-motion synths work their magic. The live band manifestation of A.C. Freazy will be moving the dance floor at this Saturday's star-studded Wine Cellar 15th Anniversary Party alongside such significant local artists as Delaney Davidson, Queen Neptune, the aforementioned Tiny Ruins and more (listed below).
