X Features Announce Waiheke Island Headline Show

X Features, the contemporary manifestation of pioneering Tāmaki Makaurau art-punks The Features (who morphed into the proto-industrial Fetus Productions in the early 80s), are returning to local stages this month to play a special Waiheke Island headline event. The team of Jed Town, Chris Orange and Christopher King will be joined by locals Plunge, LeopardSkinDeath, The Death Of Love and The Goulies – the creative collision of Town and Nick Hanson of The Spelling Mistakes. Features' songs appeared on the scene-defining AK79 compilation, which is receiving the deluxe double LP reissue treatment from Flying Nun Records this December in celebration of the collection's 40th Anniversary. The final boat back to the super city that night is at 12.30am, which gives you plenty of time to join the trailblazing crew in action...
