We're two days into our new home office work / life routines, courtesy of Aoteaora's four week lockdown due to the coronavirus Covid-19 outbreak, and the UTR team haven't gone (too) insane yet. We hope you're keeping safe, sensible and healthy, and we're grateful for the support you've shown us over the past few weeks, as our live music scene has suddenly taken a month-long nosedive. We'll keep bringing you the best local and international music news during the lockdown period and beyond, and have set up a brand new online section of the UTR gig guide, to help our artists get word out about their upcoming live streaming music adventures. For a quick and handy how to set up your own streaming event listing, plus ticketing and promo options, head over here.

If you want a clear view of the scale of the past couple of week's postponements and cancellations, head along over here for our rundown of UTR-related events impacted by the coronavirus outbreak, some of which are thankfully now slotted in for a later date. Readers (who are able to do so) can support the live music community by opting to hold onto tickets, opting out of refunds and opting out of booking fee refunds. We've also set up an Aotearoa music community resources page with some very handy links for helping get through the next few months over here.

Needless to say, as a ticketing website we've been directly impacted – revenue from ticketing live shows enables the UTR team to bring you the best breaking music news, interviews, playlists and so much more. We're asking readers (who have the resources to do so) to consider helping us continue to support NZ's vibrant music community into the future, by purchasing items our stylish range of UTR merch, UTR gift vouchers, or making a donation – for more details head along here. Your kindness and generosity will be hugely appreciated ♡

Our Caught Live video for the week features US thrash metal overlords Sacred Reich, heading to Aotearoa with Bay Area legends Vio-Lence for ear-bleeding events in Auckland and Wellington this July. Take in killer vintage footage of the group busting out their anthem 'Death Squad' to a raging crowd live at Dynamo....
