Tāmaki Makaurau noise-rockers Swallow The Rat's extensive March tour of the States was frustratingly cut short by the coronavirus outbreak, unfortunately resulting in ex-Texan guitarist Brian Purington being an early high profile local sufferer of Covid-19. The four piece triumph over adversity with their second album Leaving Room, featuring fuzz-drenched recent singles 'Bird Of Ill', 'Shifting Sand' and 'New Cross' along with a fistful of new anthems to dive into.
