Estère dives into the hurt of caring for someone who doesn't care back on epic new track 'Mad About Your Sea'. This is the second single from her upcoming third studio album Archetypes, a collection recorded in collaboration with Massive Attack producer Stew Jackson, and the two drops so far tell me that Archetypes is going to be a red hot, steamy collection of neo-soul and RnB. While lead single 'Calculated Risk' was an upbeat foray into empowering risk taking, 'Mad About Your Sea' is a heart squeezing ballad about the emotional toll of an unhealthy relationship. Specifically, Estère explains, "this song is about being addicted to someone who is no good for you - and wanting to save that person, despite the hurt that they have caused you". The award-nominated powerhouse is one of the headliners at next year's Newtown Festival in Whanganui-a-tara, the free, annual, stage-packed Newtown event set to take over the streets in March.
