Sarah Mary Chadwick Shares Single / Video 'Full Mood'

Melbourne-based, Taumarunui-born performer Sarah Mary Chadwick (formerly of Batrider) has shared the third track from her forthcoming album Me And Ennui Are Friends, Baby, and it's surprisingly sweet for a single that follows 'Every Loser Needs A Mother' and Chadwick's many other objectively depresso songs. 'Full Mood' is as romantic as its Tristan Scott-Behrends directed video, with lyrics "Your eyes straight up decorate this room" and "Thinking of your sweat makes red my blues, wanna colour in the world for you" functioning as the narration for some extremely Lana Del Ray, dust-speckled, puppy love visuals. To make it a little more 'tongue-in-cheek Chadwick', Scott-Behrends has unconvincingly superimposed her into city scenes, the perfect comic relief for my emotionally suppressed wee heart.

Me And Ennui Are Friends, Baby is the final collection in a trio of albums, and was entirely recorded with just Chadwick's voice and a piano, completing the set after The Queen Who Stole The Sky and Please Daddy. Listen to the latest drop — the rest is out early next month...

Sarah Mary Chadwick's seventh full-length album 'Me And Ennui Are Friends, Baby' is out February 5th 2021 via Rice Is Nice Records / Ba Da Bing Records.
