Thousand Limbs Unveil Video For 'Mara'

It's the gift that keeps on giving, Thousand Limbs' dirgy Mara EP now has an equally potent visual element for its closing and title track. From concept to colour grade, the clip for 'Mara' is an Amber Beaton (of Dead Caldera) creation, who was also the brains behind the band's first ever music video 'Amok' in 2018. Beaton recognises that nature is simultaneously the most beautiful and the most metal thing out, delivering dark, monochromatic compositions of cobwebs, decomposing trees and other cool nature shit under the epic, instrumental 'Mara'. The Tāmaki Makaurau group describes Beaton as their "honourary 5th member", and Beaton describes the video as "a love letter to the whenua", watch it here...
