Aotearoa Level 2 Gigs For The Weekend
Last weekend's shows were certainly slim pickings, but this week sees a significant uptick in local gig listings, representative of the much more manageable new Alert Level 2 maximum venue capacity of 100 attendees for most of Aotearoa [check out the full Level 2 guidelines for bars here]. Aucklanders are still out of luck on the shows front at Alert Level 3, but at least there's no longer any need to illegally smuggle KFC across the super city border. Reflecting the resilience of our live music community, there's some awesome looking shows happening across the nation this Saturday and Sunday, plus events are clearly still going ahead in Rarotonga! Please head along and support the artists and our crucial venues — as capacity will be tight as a drum we recommend nabbing presales in advance...
