Annabel Kean / Friday 4th February, 2022 11:05AM

Ōtautahi folk outfit and Auckland Live Best Independent Debut award-nominee Mousey returns after the roaring success of 2021 single 'The Bench', today sharing news of sophomore album My Friends and lifting the lid on heart-squeezing track 'My Hands Are Made Of Glass'. Fronted by songwriter Serena Close, the new Mousey drop features drum machine arrangement from Lukas Mayo aka Pickle Darling and production wizardry from Lyttelton recording master Ben Edwards, with each carefully layered element culminating in multiple, swelling crescendos. Along with 'My Hands Are Made Of Glass' and the album title reveal, Mousey also shares news of signing to Native Tongue Music Publishing, who have worked with the likes of Courtney Barnett, Jen Cloher and Aldous Harding. My Friends will be revealed in its entirety March 11th, and pre-orders for CDs, tapes and dreamy green vinyl are available now, just in time for Bandcamp Friday...

Mousey's sophomore album My Friends is out March 11th via Native Tongue Music Publishing.
