Ōhinehou / Lyttelton-based violinist and composer Motte aka Anita Clark has today unveiled 'Plateau', the second single from her forthcoming album Cold + Liquid, launching in August via US imprint Ba Da Bing! Records. A regular name around these parts in 2022, Clark recently wrapped up a duo tour with Luke Buda (performing songs from his album Buda), contributed to Jim Nothing's super snazzy new single and will be performing alongside Don McGlashan's all-star bandmates The Others (Shayne P. Carter, Chris O’Connor and James Duncan) on their Bright November Morning tour this spring. No relation to the classic Meat Puppets tune, atmospheric new instrumental 'Plateau' is out today paired with beautiful landscape visuals by Threading Frames — nodding towards Clark's work in dance / film / theatre music production with dizzyingly expressive, swooping body movements filmed within the lush outdoor environments of Duder Regional Park, Maraetai and Anawhata Beaches, and Riverhead Forest...
