Aotearoa Music Awards 2022 Winners Announced
No traditional showbiz razzle dazzle this year for our annual music industry knees-up the Aotearoa Music Awards, but still plenty to celebrate as 2022's winners were revealed to the world this morning. Holding a relatively low-key presentation ceremony tonight due to ongoing pandemic concerns, big winners included L.A.B, Tami Neilson and Rob Ruha — with Vera Ellen taking away the award for Te Kaipuoro Manohi Toa | Best Alternative Artist (performing at Flying Nun's Beautiful Things end of year party on 26th November), Alien Weaponry recognised as Te Kaipuoro Rakapioi Toa | Best Rock Artist, and first time nominee LEAPING TIGER receiving the Tūī for Te Kaipuoro Tāhiko Toa | Best Electronic Artist.
