Eyegum Music Collective have completed an absolute doozy of a mega-stacked lineup for this year's multi-venue GREAT SOUNDS GREAT festival, happening across six Pōneke central city venues (and seven stages) on 31st August. New additions to the already expansive bill include reggae / soul / jazz legends Trinity Roots, turntable wizard Alphabethead (Bad Taste, The All Seeing Hand), Tāmaki songwriting super-duo Pony Baby (Jazmine Mary and Arahi), DJ / production dynamo Benny Salvador, cyber-psych explorers Spectre Collective, Whanganui's Castlecliff Lights, 2024 Silver Scroll finalists Dateline, Maiden Name, Miss Leading and Sleeping Village.

They're joining an already star-powered bill including Aotearoa rock icons Fur Patrol fronted by Julia Deans, Ōtepoti gothic-electronic trio Death and the Maiden (who just released their superb new album Uneven Ground), Tāmaki kosmische trio Half Hexagon (James Milne, Yolanda Fagan and Julien Dyne), poetry star Hera Lindsay Bird, and many more. Early birds are already all gone and GREAT SOUNDS GREAT is traditionally a sold out occasion, so don't goof about — grab tickets pronto...

UPDATE: Raw Collective are no longer performing at Great Sounds Great 2024, plus Erny Belle has joined the bill...
