Spotlight: Jenny Mitchell 'Forest House' Album Release Tour of New Zealand

Southern songwriting star Jenny Mitchell has been making major waves since relocating to Naarm Melbourne from Gore. Winner of the 2022 APRA Best Country Music Song Award (for 'Trouble Finds A Girl' ft. Tami Neilson) and the 2017 Golden Guitar (at age 18), Mitchell is reaching fresh ears and clocking up significant streaming figures with her breakout fifth studio long player Forest House, recorded in the rural Wairarapa — "An album about all that can happen within four walls; the welcoming, heartbreaking, healing and everything in between."

Special guest opener for Kasey Chambers on a massive thirty date tour of Australia earlier this year, Mitchell leapt right back into the fray and has just treated Aussie fans to a mid-winter run of release shows. She's all set to make a triumphant return to Aotearoa, playing headline events in the four main centres next month, plus a triple date Small Halls Tour in Hawkes Bay to boot.
