DoubleSLACK!! - Newzician Magazine Fundraiser Announced ft. Half/Angel, Awning, Oscar Dowling

Finalists for the 2025 NZ On Air Outstanding Music Journalism Award, a special fundraiser has been organised in support of Newzician Magazine — your "music mag for the music-mad" — an invaluable, increasingly rare independent voice in local media, platforming and championing our uniquely diverse music community. DoubleSLACK!! brings together three top notch acts banging the drum for this excellent cause at Tāmaki Makaurau's Double Whammy, co-starring songwriter Oscar Dowling (of New Gum Sarn), Te Whanganui-a-Tara's rapidly rising Half/Angel and Christian Dimick's Awning, whose self-titled debut album has emerged as an Aotearoa release highlight of 2025.

Attendees have the option of preordering Newzician Magazine 4, in advance of what's sure to be a great celebration of what they've achieved so far.
