Model Home x Yon Loader and Pining Radiata (Papaiti Records) Announce Midwest Aotearoa Tour

Transporting the undying spirit of midwest emo to midwest Aotearoa are Model Home, Yon Loader and Pining Radiata, flying the flag for Papaiti Records all about Te Ika-a-Māui in late spring. Preceded by a double headline date at Ōtautahi's darkroom (sans Pining Radiata), all three groups will emotively rock Whanganui's Porridge Watson, Te Papaioea's Snails and Te Whanganui-a-Tara's Valhalla, with guitar wrangling guests in each respective town Dropper, Sports Dreams, and True Mets.

Pining Radiata have been notably outspoken against our current streaming paradigm / recording industry stranglehold, yanking their music from Spotify (read HERE) — an activist action echoing NZ music journalist Martyn Pepperell's recent conversation with Liz Pelly, author of Mood Machine: The Rise of Spotify and the Costs of the Perfect Playlist.
