KITA Announce 'LOVE LIVES HERE / 愛住在這' Summer Tour

KITA are the electronic dream-trio fronted by Taiwan-born, Pōneke-based musician / actor Nikita 雅涵 Tu-Bryant (Avatar 2, Far North) with Ed Zuccollo (Zuke) and Rick Cranson (Little Bushman). Busy in their own respective realms since the launch of their LOVE LIVES HERE EP in 2023, KITA are reuniting for a four date summer tour, all set to move crowds in the capital, Picton (the trio's debut gig there), Nelson and Twisted Frequency festival from mid December onwards. Nikita 雅涵 Tu-Bryant Zuke has been putting the finishing touches on her forthcoming trilingual art-house film LOVE LIVES HERE / 愛住在這裡, while Zuccollo recently unveiled his debut album Come Closer as Zuke via Loop Electronic. Attendees at selected shows will not only be treated to the festival favourites' live experience, there'll also be projections of snippets from LOVE LIVES HERE / 愛住在這裡 ahead of the film's international release in 2026.

Nikita 雅涵 Tu-Bryant is warming up for KITA's summer adventure with an intimate U P C L O S E solo tour which just kicked off over the weekend in Ōakura, with more acoustic headline shows teed up for Whāingaroa, Puhoi and at Raumati Social Club (joined by cellist Charley Davenport) in the coming weeks.

Since releasing and touring their LOVE LIVES HERE EP in late 2023, the last two years has seen front-woman Nikita 雅涵 Tu-Bryant shoot and wrap her debut film featuring • KITA •

This summer they are reviving their LOVE LIVES HERE Tour show with some added spice** in anticipation of their upcoming release of Tu-Bryant’s film.

Inspired by their EP LOVE LIVES HERE, the trilingual art-house film [ LOVE LIVES HERE / 愛住在這裡 ] is to be screened in 2026 on the film festival circuit around the globe.

Melding inspirations of folk, soul and psychedelia with the guitar and spirited storytelling of musician-actor Nikita 雅涵 Tu-Bryant (Avatar 2, Far North TV Series); the thick lushness of Moog bass synth and Fender Rhodes from Ed Zuccollo (Zuke); and the filthy drive and barking drums of Rick Cranson (Little Bushman) • KITA • have long-since solidified themselves as a must-see live band with a massive sound.

Over the years you may have seen • KITA • main-stage with sets at SPLORE and WOMAD to the Wairarapa coasts at Tora Bombora and 121 Festival. Since their inception • KITA • have released 2 EPs and a debut album produced by grammy-award winning Italian producer Tommaso Colliva (MUSE, RAZORLIGHT).
