Adam Hattaway Announces Solo Tour of Aotearoa New Zealand
A solid contender for hardest working musician in Ōtautahi Christchurch — if not Aotearoa itself — Adam Hattaway simply refuses to loaf about in 2026. Responsible for a seven studio album run so far in less than a decade, including his career standout new record with the Haunters Hot Variety, Hattaway is stripping his rustically rockin' sound right down to simply "guitar, a well-travelled voice, and the dry, offbeat charm that has long set him apart" for an upcoming ten date solo tour of his homeland. Truly travelling "there and back again", Hattaway's sonic quest commences at Space Academy on 17th March (supporting US folk songwriter Jolie Halland), looping back to conclude at a secret venue in the garden city on 10th May (Mother's Day). Here are the details...

Press release:
Adam Hattaway is heading back out on the road, this time solo, with just a guitar, a well-travelled voice, and the dry, offbeat charm that has long set him apart.
After releasing and touring seven albums since 2018, he brings with him a catalogue of songs shaped by miles on the road and a perspective that’s uniquely his own.
This run sees Hattaway revisiting small towns he hasn’t played in for a while, stepping back into familiar rooms and reconnecting with the places that have been part of the journey.
Reaching right back to the early releases alongside newer material, he’ll be reworking favourites and letting the songs speak for themselves in close quarters.
