Clap Clap Riot Announce First Tour In Seven Years + Share Single 'Like a Lover'
Clap Clap Riot are doing fans around Aotearoa a major solid with the announcement of their first nationwide tour in seven years, a tidy triple date outing, rolling into Wellington / Te Whanganui-a-Tara, Auckland / Tāmaki Makaurau and Christchurch / Ōtautahi from mid-May onwards. They nearly made it around the motu in 2022, but a small, distantly remembered thing known as the global pandemic necessarily nixed those earlier plans. Back on the upswing, the Tāmaki rockers have also just unleashed their first single since 2021, 'Like A Lover', a frisky new anthem encouraging listeners to keep stoking the flames of love. So crank it up and grab a ticket for these super rare CCR shows while you can, we strongly suspect they won't be available for long...
"Honestly, we feel more than ready to get back out on the road. We can't wait to finally share the material we started working on in 2019. These songs have been living in our heads for a long time and are some of the most dynamic we've ever produced. We're itching to play them live and loud and reconnect with everyone face-to-face."
