Slur Unleash Debut EP + Touring Nationwide This Autumn
The legend of Slur's excellence has been filtering northwards from Waihōpai Invercargill via our local music rumour mill, happily now confirmed for newcomers (such as myself) by their new self-titled debut EP. Laid down at their hometown's Threes and Sevens Records, Slur presents three expansive sides to the southern four-piece — slow-crawling, other-dimensionally echoed doom-crunch opener 'Teeth', volcanic post-metal centrepiece 'Bury The Sun', and sonically steamrolling closing anthem 'Salt The Earth' — all flowing together as one powerhouse suite. Crank up Slur and catch them touring around the motu from next Friday onwards, some of these venues have very tight capacity so grab tickets quick...
