Listen to CCTV's New Single 'End Of History'
Reviving a concept popularised by Francis Fukuyama in the early 1990s, viewed with skeptical eyes from our turbulent 21st century perspective, 'End of History' is the new single from Tāmaki's dynamite alt-rockers CCTV. Sounding to these ears more The Strokes-adjacent this time around, in contrast to the spaghetti western romp of their last single 'Cowboy Song', CCTV muster more energy than those aforementioned NYC nepo-babies could ever achieve — getting downright scraggly by the tune's closing moments. In less than two weeks CCTV's debut album Empire will be out in the world, succumb to 'End of History' and make shapes at their release gig at Big Fan on 4th July...
