Gig Information

It’s time for the Burnal Equinox! The six month halfway point between the last Kiwiburn and the next. Let’s come together to celebrate and inspire each other with our ideas for Kiwiburn17 – The Robots are Coming!

113 Valley Rd Mt Eden

Let your own creativity be the theme for this event, as always fancy dress is not only encouraged but expected – get your glad (or glow) rags out and dress to impress! Auckland Burners is hosting this amazing Burnal Equinox celebration in a new, centrally located warehouse venue which we are sure you are going to love!

Your favourite Theme Camps and art installations will be there to give you a taste of the Kiwiburn goodness you are thirsting for. The warehouse has different spaces available, and depending on how ticket sales go we will be opening up new spaces for use:
200+ tickets: Main DJ zone, small snug/chill zone, small outdoor area.
300+ tickets: Main DJ zone, small snug/chill zone, large outdoor area for fire performance.
400+ tickets: Main DJ zone, large snug/chill zone and separate DJ zone, larger outdoor area for fire performance.

As with the Auckland Decompression party, this will be a ticketed event with NO door sales! Get your tickets now and tell your friends to do the same! The earlier you buy them, the more space we’ll open up.

Please do not bring drinks in glass bottles and remember to Leave No Trace! Take your recycling home with you. http://www.kiwiburn.com/about/guiding-principles/

The Burnal Equinox fundraiser will benefit The Giant Weta as it starts its journey to Black Rock City before heading back to New Zealand for Kiwiburn, as well as the Auckland Burners shared space. Help support your local Burner community! You are also welcome to donate to The Giant Weta’s Give A Little campaign: https://givealittle.co.nz/cause/giantweta
