The E tū Musicians’ Union is launching CHANGE THE TUNE, a non-party aligned election campaign to vote in a government that supports musicians and the music sector.
Our music scene can’t afford another round of this government. Together, we can and will change the government for the better of our scene.
Whether you’re a musician, venue manager, door person, label owner, or angel in the audience, you have a part to play.
Join us at Neck of the Woods for the campaign launch of CHANGE THE TUNE. You’ll hear about the strategy and leave with a clear picture of what actions you can take to get people enroled and turning out.
Doors open from 6pm with DJ Kaiviti playing until 7pm when we kick into the kōrero. After the kōrero, stay for the waiata. Local superstars Dick Move, SPDRTWNBBY, and Hun Lynch will close us off with equal parts high energy, self-reflection, and yearning for another world.
This campaign launch is supported by Action Station, who are organising a broad based mega-movement for voter enrolment and turn out under the banner of Together for the Vote.
