As part of the Wellington Jazz Festival, Pyramid Club presents three of Wellington's most creative and extraordinary contemporary jazz ensembles at Meow.
The Bridget Kelly Quintet features Bridget Kelly on reeds and harp, three double bassists (Tom Callwood, Isaac Smith and Patrick Bleakley) and drummer John Rae. Spirit Level is a new, interstellar duo of Daniel Beban (guitar) and Andy Wright (drums). And, led by free jazz luminary Anthony Donaldson, the Ghosts of Mount Kodak features Anton Wuts (saxophone), Kaito Walley (trombone), Dayle Jellyman (synths), Tom Callwood (bass) and Jonny Marks (voice and electronics).
Contemporary jazz at its best!
