Actor, poet and multidisciplinary artist Hester Ullyart celebrates the release of her debut album The All Clear with a one night only live band show at Lyttelton Arts Factory on November 13th, supported by Instant Fantasy.
Blurring the divide between music and theatre, join Hester and band as she invites you to ‘leave your worries at the door, quite literally’ in an evening of release and appreciation of the chapters life throws at us.
‘I’ll tell you a secret, you might not like it. You’re just like everybody else, masking the wires. Does that make you feel better, or worse?’
The All Clear is out on all streaming platforms, vinyl and cd on November 13th.
A searching ten-song collection of spoken and sung narratives, The All Clear moves between pop sentimentality, choral harmony, ambience and dramatic monologue. Joined by Ōtautahi musicians Reuben Derrick, Joseph McCallum and Hannah Everingham, Ullyart brings the album to life on stage.
Tickets at Humanitix - unwaged options and vinyl/ CD packages included.
