Gig Information

There’s something about Arrowsmith’s presence that is a different kind of alchemy altogether – in the unusual quality of her delivery and her enchanting voice, which swings between being light and free, before turning into a growl or lilting into a sweet head voice. - Second Hand News

Pure and unfettered but not lacking in power or force, New Zealand's Holly Arrowsmith bares her soul to enlighten those of her listeners. Her earthy, timeless vocals serve as a catalyst for stories of crystalline prose, offering comfort in their unique and profound delivery. This songbird's gentle plea for the hearts of humanity is infused with wisdom and strung together in a hopeful and uplifting account of existence.

Recipient of the TUI Award for 'Best Folk Album of 2016' and recent nominee for the 2016 'Silver Scroll Award', Arrowsmith is clearly here to stay. With a voice that cannot be disregarded, and a refreshing writing style, hear tales of life and times encased in lucid reverie of the natural world.

Since the 2015 release of her debut album 'For The Weary Traveller', Holly has toured New Zealand, Australia and the United States. She has graced the stage at New Zealand's largest music Festivals, supported internationally acclaimed folk artist 'Sixto Rodriguez' and toured with 'Fly My Pretties'.

Every now and again you encounter a voice that stops you in your tracks and songs that tug at your heart. You listen to them and instantly you want to tell everyone you know that they have to hear them too. - Sounds of Oz

Alanna Eileen is a Melbourne singer-songwriter whose pure-toned vocals garnered substantial praise upon the release of her debut EP, 'Absence', in 2015. Accompanying herself on guitar and piano, Eileen pens delicate, introspective songs with a quiet intensity. In 2016, she released her second EP, 'In Your Hands', produced by Mark Myers (The Middle East), in addition to recording her first full-length album in New Zealand with Ben Edwards (Marlon Williams, Aldous Harding) and traveling to the UK to perform. She is playing shows in Australia and New Zealand this February in the lead up to the release of a new single.
