Nashville-based blues-rock duo Larkin Poe are wending their way to Aotearoa this April for shows at Aucklands Tuning Fork and Christchurchs Blue Smoke. Drawing on the rich roots rocknroll heritage of the south, the multi-instrumentalist sister act of Rebecca and Megan Lovell are descendants of spooky nineteenth century author Edgar Alan Poe, and name their musical project after their great-great-great grandfather. Renowned both for their passionate covers of classic blues songs and their own gritty originals, Larkin Poe now have have four studio records under their belts including brand new album Venom & Faith, and have shared the stage with the likes of Elvis Costello, Don Henley, Jackson Browne and Conor Oberst.
