Christchurch-based songwriter Alanna Eileen has recently returned from recording in the United States with Alan Weatherhead (Sparklehorse, Magnolia Electric Co).
Originally from Australia, Eileen re-located to New Zealand after working with Lyttelton producer Ben Edwards (Marlon Williams, Aldous Harding) in 2016. She has drawn praise for the purity of her vocals and the intimacy of her live shows. Her latest EP, 'Artifice', is due for release on 10th February, 2019.
