Welcome to our musician guest GLORIA FLORENCE. Gloria is an Auckland based singer songwriter who performs regularly at Cafe 121 and other venues. She plays a blend of alternative country and folk music including self-penned songs, drawing from her childhood growing up in the middle of nowhere and her teenage years playing punk rock. Her inspirations vary from Billie Holiday to Townes Van Zandt to The Stranglers. Playing an acoustic set she takes you to the heart of a young woman, knocked down but always getting right back up to write a song about it.
