All star evening with Oamaru primitives The Trendees / the dazzling disco good time strength of Tāmaki Makaurau luminary Power Nap and the sharp, vibrant, new thrills of NT Honey.
Here is more info about these musical acts:
The Trendees is a band from far away in Oamaru. They play demented DIY pop songs in their head with the unshackled, wild and stupid spirit of early rock’nroll and / or punk or slop. Jad Fair likes them. Three people make this music : Eden Bradfield is on guitar and yelps / Matt Plunkett is lyrics and apparent singer and feet stamps and Austen Mcmillian plays drums and grins seriously during his concentration.

Power Nap is the solo electronic project of Tāmaki Makaurau's Chris Cudby (Golden Axe). Acclaimed by Bandcamp Daily as a leading voice in something called 'Oceanic Vaporwave', you can listen to his long-awaited debut album 'Shaped Canvas' here: https://powernap.bandcamp.com/album/shaped-canvas
N. T Honey showcases the crackling and vibrant songs of Anya Henis. Henis often bases the lyrical content of her labyrinthine tunes around her reading habits and the songs are funny and stark and deep. The live band is full force accidental punk and includes Henis along with Beth Ducklingmonster on bass and Stefan Neville bashing drums. New release is the very choice long player ' Eat Them Before They Eat You'
