Paper Thieves are coming to N.Z yo!!! ....Well two of us. Leah Christensen (Vox,keys) and Eric Wermke (guitar) are touring N.Z in March and April, bringing a soul-laden, stripped back rendition of old and new tunes that will make you feel all fuzzy inside.
Paper Thieves are a Berlin based psychedelic soul project with roots in New Zealand, Turkey and Germany. They have recently released their EP „Koumpounophobia“ which has been featured nationally and internationally on major music blogs (somewhere Soul, Nothing But Hope And Passion, Kaltblut) and radio stations. Leadsinger Leah creates imagery through spirited storytelling and with the groups commitment to a blend of intricate soulful vocals, psychedelic guitar emissions and stimulating rhythms they create a dynamic and playful atmosphere.
